For over 80 years Meyra have been designing and engineering wheelchairs guided by the needs of actual wheelchair users. Meyra brings your individual goals within reach and makes daily life more accessible, whether it be in the home, out and about, in rehabilitation, school or competitive sport.

At Meyra Australia, our goal is to build the perfect chair for every user. We do this by discussing each client’s goals, the environment the chair will be used, their physical condition and any future considerations or adjustments that might be required.

Meyra Australia acts as the main distribution centre for Australia, which means our products are available all the way from Cairns to Hobart, and everywhere in between. Our network of dealers gives us the unique ability to easily and efficiently reach our clients across the country.

We’re proud to be a registered NDIS provider and can help you get the most out of your individual plan. We also offer our custom built, made to measure products with a range of seating options on a trial basis to make sure the perfect fit has been achieved before you commit to your new wheelchair purchase.

We are a small team of mobility specialists comprising of more than 20 years of Occupational Therapy and custom wheelchair services, including building and fitting.


Office Manager

The first point of contact for Meyra Australia is our Office Manager Cathy. She is the smiling face that will greet you upon arrival to our warehouse and the person you’ll most likely speak to when you initially call us. Cathy has over 30 years’ experience in office environments and has completed training at Meyra’s head office in Germany.



Ian has worked in the industry for over eight years and has a background in fitting and machining. Ian is extremely knowledgeable in building and modifying wheelchairs and has also completed specialised training at Meyra head office in Germany. Regularly travelling up and down the east coast, Ian brings our wheelchairs directly to occupational therapists, dealers and clients for trials, purchases and repairs. Ian is heavily involved in our Dealer Assistance Program which allows dealers to access Meyra’s full range of chairs and accessories for client trials.


Occupational Therapist

With over 10 years of occupational therapy experience across Australia and New Zealand, Tiffany brings a wealth of industry knowledge to our team. She truly cares about her clients and how we can help make their lives better. By working closely with the client and other therapists to understand current and future needs, Tiffany thrives on being able to create the perfect chair for every client.
